A very crazy tree in the courtyard of the Alamo (and some guy who wandered into the shot at the last second).

Andrew Paroski, Nick Maliwacki, and Bill "The Texan" Poucher (executive director of the ICPC) posing with the trophy before the contest.
Thousands marched in the streets to protest when Binghamton didn't win first place at World Finals (just kidding). It was mere coincidence that there was nationwide protest over various immigration-related legislation during the ICPC team's trip to San Antonio.
After the competition, IBM scheduled a celebration at a "surprise" location. Surprise!

Articles

Watson Review, a newsletter circulated within Watson School, covered the ICPC team back in Spring of 2004 before BU ACM Chapter existed. The ICPC team placed third at Regionals in Fall 2003, narrowly missing an invitation to World Finals 2004. The Spring 2004 issue of Watson Review can be found here.

The CS department was quick to brag as the ICPC team narrowly defeated Harvard and Brown at Regionals in Fall 2005 and earned an invitation to World Finals 2006. The text can be found here.

In its November 17th 2005 issue, Inside BU reported on the ICPC team's victory at Regionals. The text of this article can be found here.

In its March 31st 2006 issue, Pipedream wrote an article about ACM chapter and the ICPC team as the team prepared for its trip to World Finals 2006. The text of the article (without the picture) can be found here.

In the Spring 2006 issue of Binghamton University Magazine, Hal Smith wrote an
article about Binghamton's ICPC team. Floppy disks aren't actually allowed at the
contest, but they were very useful in picture for conveying at a glance that this
was an article about computer nerds. The title "Trouncing the Ivys" was a bit much, this is the most in-depth article about Binghamton's performance in the ICPC.
