Some topics to be covered in the presentation are creating basic Flex applications, integrating external data into an application, and the practical uses of such software
in the BingBuilder Flex application.
If you haven't heard of Flex, you're not alone. As quoted from Adobe's website, "Flex is a highly productive, free open source framework for building and maintaining expressive web applications that
deploy consistently on all major browsers, desktops, and operating systems." This 'framework' is used to build what are called Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) using Flash as the front-end.
Come to the presentation Tuesday evening and enjoy free pizza and soda while you learn the basics of what professionals are calling the best development platform out there for this purpose. Also learn
how you can get this incredible software worth upwards of $700 for absolutely nothing and enjoy some delicious pizza and soda among friends.
